About Me

Sean is a software engineer, user experience pundit and web entrepreneur who has immersed himself in the web for a decade. He specializes in information architecture, interaction design and large scale application development.

In addition to being well versed in XHTML, HTML, JAVASCRIPT, PHP, VB.net, C++, Python, CSS and Photoshop, Sean has a keen business mind and has owned a transport company, developed a social search engine, owned a web development business and a specialist software solutions company servicing the Casino industry.

He is Co-founder of Wixel, a tech solutions company that not only builds ridiculously awesome software, but also helps select clients find effective solutions to business challenges using both design and technology. Sean single-handedly coded Mooblr, Wixel’s first product, a powerful e-commerce platform that bridges the gap between great design and e-commerce.

He has not only built a reputation as an e-commerce go-to-guy, but also as a great designer who has been featured on sites such as Smashing Magazine, CSS Mania and OnePageLove.

He writes on his blog iSean on topics of business, technology, design and life in South Africa. He also contributes to Memeburn.com on topics relating to technology, open source, e-commerce and design.
